Free Concert To Celebrate Release of World's Funkiest Classical Album
Barron Ryan
I’m performing an outdoor concert to celebrate the release of the funkiest, ‘countriest’, most calypso-y classical music you’ve ever heard! The event will take place Sunday, September 12 at 6 pm at Guthrie Green in Tulsa. Admission is free, and additional details can be found below.
I debuted an album of original piano music, First of Its Kind, in March of this year. But the prevalence of COVID-19 made presenting an in-person release concert challenging. So now I’m is making up for lost time with an outdoor piano concert!

BYOC (bring your own chairs)! Guthrie Green is an outdoor venue with lawn seating for the audience. No further seating materials are provided, so please bring whatever you'd prefer to sit on (chairs or blankets).
In Case of Rain
If the weather gets bad, we’ll reschedule the concert for another time. Check my Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram feeds, or the comments of this blog post for updates.
Length
The concert will be approximately an hour and a half.
Fun for the Family
This is a great chance to introduce younger audiences to the piano! It will feature lively music and an engaging narrative.
After-Party
First of Its Kind patrons are also invited to the concert after-party! If you contributed to the album fundraising campaign, check your email for a message containing those details. If you can’t find it, contact me.
Special Surprise
If you need any more reason to attend the concert, there’s a big revelation in store! I wanted to make this event special despite the fact that First of Its Kind is already released.
Come on September 12 to find out what I have up my sleeve!
See You Sep. 12
