This spring, Tulsa shows off its native talent with a special musical event celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month. On April 19, Foolish Things Coffee Company will present Tulsa pianist Barron Ryan in an enthralling concert experience combining music and storytelling called A Brief History of Piano Jazz.

America celebrates one of its greatest historical and living treasures each April with Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM). JAM encourages people of all ages to participate in and learn more about jazz, and this unique concert by pianist Barron Ryan will help you learn about and appreciate jazz in a whole new way.
Barron Ryan has been described as a “musical phenomenon”, with his passion and love for music being evident throughout his performances. As an artist who makes ‘Classic Meet Cool’, Barron uses his love for jazz and ability to relate to audiences to create outstanding music and engaging concert experiences.
